*you can also add 3/4 cup diced red bell peppers for color when sautéing corn. Also adding bacon on top when you are ready to serve the corn is another option, because bacon makes everything awesome!
6 cups frozen sweet corn, thawed
1 cup whole milk
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Heat medium sized sauce pan over medium high heat. Cube cream cheese and butter, add to sauce pan.
Add milk and stir continuously until mixture is smooth.
Reduce heat to medium and add sugar, spices and corn.
Continue stirring creamed corn until heated through, about 10 minutes.
*You can make ahead and then put corn mixture in baking dish and refrigerate. When ready to serve, place corn in preheated oven at 350º for 20 minutes until bubbly.
