  • 4 ripe avocados

  • 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice (1 lemon)

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp Aleppo pepper (or 1/2 tsp chili powder)

  • 1 tsp kosher salt

  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 medium tomato, seeded and diced

  • 1 bunch of cilantro, washed, dried and chopped

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop flesh out of their shells into a large bowl.

  2. Immediately add the lemon juice, cumin, Aleppo pepper, salt, pepper and toss well. Using a sharp knife, slice through the avocados in the bowl until they are finely diced. Add tomatoes and cilantro and mix well. Add more seasoning to taste.

If preparing ahead of time, place plastic wrap directly onto the guacamole so it doesn't brown.
